The 25th Running of the Sunset Classic 5 Mile Run
The finish line and packet pickup are at Foley Field in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
The start is about 1/2 mile away on Baldwin Street. This is Bloomfield's Mayor reading a proclamation.

Official chip time: 43:19. A great time for me for a five mile run, an 8:39 mile pace, but..
Finished 220th out of 524 and 13th out of 25 in my age group. This was the fastest group of 60 - 64 year old runners of all the runs I have done.
Soaking wet on this warm humid night.
But this race had ice cream, hot dogs and cokes.
Just before the awards presentation (none for me) was about to begin, the rain came. Heavy heavy rain, wind, lightening and thunder, and my car was half a mile away.
One poor guy is taken away in the storm.
Many of us were under the tents, but after 30 minutes, the rain was still strong, and they took down the tents.
I got soaked again running to the car, so this turned out to be a 5 and 1/2 miler.
